Guests and visitors are welcome at HHMFC.
Guests may fly at HHMFC facilities (Flying Guest) subject to the following policies and procedures:
There shall be a limit of one (1) guest per Club Member in good standing. An individual Flying Guest will be limited to three visits per calendar year.
The guest must have a valid MAAC membership, with MAAC pilot qualifications for the type of aircraft being flown.
The hosting Club Member must be present at all times during their guest’s visit.
The hosting Club Member is responsible for advising their guest of all HHMFC rules, as well as ensuring that Flying Guests read the HHMFC safety board to become familiar with the current Operations and Safety procedures.
For each day a Flying Guest visit is to take place, the Hosting Club Member is required to fully complete the all information at the following link prior to the arrival of the guest at the field.
Flying Guests who have a MAAC membership shall have a copy of it with them when they are at the flying field.
The hosting Club Member is soley responsible for ensuring the guest has a valid MAAC membership.
It is mandatory that guests be escorted during the entire visit by the hosting Club Member and that the guest remain under the direct supervision of the hosting Club Member at all times.
The hosting Club Member will ensure that his/her guest comply with all rules and regulations in force at the field.
Guests who are MAAC members will be allowed to fly their own aircraft or the host’s aircraft. The hosting Club Member is responsible for their guest at all times during the visit.
Guests who are non-MAAC members may fly at the field if such flights are conducted by a designated flight instructor of the club, the flights are conducted in accordance with the MAAC Safety Code, and that a buddy box system is used.
Under no circumstances may a Club Member divulge the flying field gate code to a guest.
The hosting Club Member for a Guest Flyer is fully responsible for compliance with these policies and procedures, and for their guests, and their actions.
Failure to adhere to the club Guest Flyer policies and procedure will result in disciplinary action in accordance with the club constitution.
