ABOUT US AND OUR FIELD

We are a friendly, socially minded group of RC modelers, conveniently located near Georgetown, Brampton and Mississauga.

HHMFC is located at 16763 17th Side Road Georgetown, Ontario, in the beautiful rolling hills of Halton.
Longitude / Latitude 43° 40′ 26.3″ N, 79° 53′ 31.6″ W

The flying field entrance is 300 meters southwest of the Winston Churchill Rd / Mayfield Rd intersection. All visitors interested in RC flying are welcome to stop by and check out the field.

Hours of Operation:

Gas/glow-nitro: 9:00 am until 11:00 pm
Electrics: 8:00 am until 11:00 pm
Night Flying requires navigation marker lighting on the aircraft.

MEMBERSHIP

If you wish to apply as a new member, click on the “New Membership Form” link below, fill in the appropriate spaces and mail it to the Secretary at the address on the bottom of the form. Please do not include fees until you are accepted. Prospective members will be invited to the field for a familiarization or evaluation flight administered by a designated flight instructor of the club. (Please refer to MAAC MPPD 5 and Article 2 of our Constitution under “Resources”.)


To renew your club membership, please complete and submit a Returning Membership Form. Please pay your dues by Interac e-transfer or send a cheque payable to “Halton Hills Model Flying Club” per the instructions on the form.

TRAINING

One of the great things about flying model aircraft is the opportunity to learn something new every time you are airborne. The following documents are offered to improve operations and safety at the flying field.
